Alptraum, Chevalier DuValle and Autumn-Storm fight the hideous "blood beast" that has been terrorizing the area. Alptraum uses himself as bait to lure the blood beast to a vegetation-obscured bluff, tricking it into charging off into the brook hidden on the other side of the tree cover. Once the creature is in the water – its bane – Alptraum, Autumn-Storm and Chevalier DuValle attack it, until it is destroyed at last.
