In a meeting arranged through Copy the mutt and "Pierre the Poodle", Willow leads Captain Merryweather and some canine crew members to a makeshift warehouse where Suprier le Chien boss of the Mongrel Quarter reigns. They work out a deal to sell off iron goods gained in Titania.
Back at the airship, the captain seems to be in much better spirits, and Burr has returned, having captured Whitehead. Willow decides she's had enough of her little charade, and reveals to Whitehead that she's a she, and not a he, and therefore no rival to Whitehead's attempted "conquests". Whitehead is staggered by the news.
Willow learns that Testament-Blaze was captured by the Marquis, and is to be tried and executed. Willow is devastated by this news, and retreats to her quarters, where she takes herbal sleeping pills, alcohol, and some of the black powder from Punja Hekl's curio store. She passes out, and then has a strange dream, where she is wined and dined by none other than Tyrne Dagh himself. Dagh seems to be far more reasonable this time, though he makes Willow no less uneasy. She converses with him, and persuades (?) him to release Testament-Blaze, and not to kill anyone in the process.
