Chiaroscuro, Wynona, Envoy, Arkold, and Pe'er (Jaundice) go to find Haskalah, and find themselves on a wild-khatta chase to Freedom Park where they encounter a strange old Khatta fishing in a fishless pond, then take a trip through the Bazaar where Wynona summons up a cloud that pesters her for a while. Chiaroscuro and Wynona, after coming across a strange blue fox (strange describes most of what's going on) find Haskalah, and secure appointments for later, where Haskalah bids Chiaroscuro to bring her one 'oddity' as the fee for the office visit later
