Zoltan, on the rooftop of the Shiny Shoppe, works with Star (aka Moon-Brow) to plant some bug-eating plants around Pouncer's Coruscant Fiero. The Coruscant Fiero blooms only once a year … and as a special surprise for Pouncer, Zoltan has hired an earth mage to get the flower to bloom on Pouncer's birthday. As the sun rises, the flower blooms.
Zoltan sneaks the mage off after paying her fees, then rouses Pouncer, to show her the rooftop. Pouncer is positively delighted at the gift. Zoltan sends Pouncer off to get ready for breakfast, while he checks on Enos. Enos is already awake, and Zoltan obligingly lets Enos "stalk" him and "pounce" him … and then Zoltan gives Enos a "drokar-back ride" into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Moon-Brow and Third-Vision are startled by the image of Zoltan crawling on talons and knees with the cub on his back … and Zoltan is equally surprised to see that Third-Vision has come to Rephidim. Third-Vision explains that she's just there for the morning, for Pouncer's birthday, and then she has some business with the Temple.
Pouncer shows off her Temple Scout uniform and shinies, then digs into a pile of wiffle-waffles. Back on the rooftop, Pouncer is shown her gifts: First, there's a big box full of all sorts of colorful bugs for the garden. Next, there is a big book of bug-collection … with places where bugs can be pressed between the pages. And lastly, there are some nice shinies and a new dress for Pouncer.
Third-Vision has a gift as well a hand-crafted "bug" that houses a painting that can be seen when the bug is held up to the light, and one looks through a spy-hole. The image depicts Pouncer and her extended "family". And so, Zoltan takes Pouncer off to the rest of her party, to celebrate her birthday.
