The party has finally gotten underway, with the entire gypsy camp decorated for it, including a dancefloor and bandstand. Emmett and the Oggtones get things going, much to the dismay of the crowd, and nearly cause Inaya to flee in panic.

Dr. Pike and Liliana's cousin Rey also attend, decked out in Sylvanian finery, while Igor brings a bottle of wine from Old Stonebarrow. Dr. Pike does her best to talk to Inaya, who seems more interested in business than just chatting, and Lili's dancers take to the stage. Emmett brings the Khatta sisters bouquets of fish, and manages to get Natasha out on the dance floor while Miranda plays a waltz and Igor accompanies her on an instrument that is the mutant offspring of an accordion and a bagpipe.

Mage Qing arrives as well, surprised by the goings on, and chats with Pike and Olivia. It also turns out that Emmett's dancing with Natasha was all a ruse to get her into position for Bravil to cut in.
