Francisco, in the Bazaar, attracts the attention of Yosah, a Skeek vendor, and gets a free meal. Meanwhile, Zoltan gets a toy Fuff'nar for his cub, Enos, and Ophelia gets a good position to watch the Guy Fox Day Parade – as does Brishen, from a more aerial perspective.

When the float rolls by, preceded by the Temple Scout Marching Band, Zsofi, the supposedly once-demi-god-like near-Khatta, is tied up in the center, in a "Guy Fox" costume. The fireworks go off … but with the unexpected side effect of Zsofi's costume catching on fire. Scouts scatter, but Pouncer, the little jaguar cub, climbs onto the float, using her cymbals to try to put out the fire. At last, Zoltan and Brishen save the day by dousing the flames … but Zsofi is less than grateful. A few hours later, Wynona finishes her "rain" ritual, but finds herself a bit too late to do much good against the fire.
