Set before Umeko, Lilac, Anisa and Xander is a great feast, a treat for all the 'guests,' carefully watched over by the Murder. The party is supplied with elegant clothing for the occasion, taking a moment to enjoy the fact before joining the somber night of dining. While Umeko, Anisa and Xander seat themselves with another two 'guests,' the familiar Lord Vandringar and a feline merchant by the name of Carrow, Lilac wanders off to find her own answers from the Murder themselves. The cursed bardess gets an icy reception and few answers, while her friends fair a deal better. Vandringar suggests interesting ideas about the orb, while Carrow relates what he knows about the ebb and flow of castle events.
