Subject to unspeakable horrors, Lilac fulfills her pact with the temple and, in turn, is given what she wished for. Sore and violated, the bardess recovers, only to stumble across a sac in the strange fleshy room she's been deposited in. Within the sac is Dragonfly, healthy if not clean. The sigh of Dragonfly, alive and relatively well, stirs Lilac from her horror-wrought stupor, filling the human with joy she thought she might never feel again.
