While trying to figure out what to do about the Gorts, Zahn opens the door to a crack to check on them – only to have a Gort yank it open and press him against the wall! Amelia kills it with a throwing knife and dashes out, while everyone else pushes the corpse outside.

By then it's all over, and Amelia has managed to kill all of the Gorts – and keeps one of the heads as a trophy, much to everyone's disgust. They make it back to the castle safely, and head up to the surface once more.

On the way back towards town, Parsley and Axel meet up with them. They tell Zahn about Gunther's predicament, and then Zahn makes Amy and Olivia tell him about Natasha's vision. He storms off angrily, thinking Amy's reason for moving in was out of a sense of duty, and not because she personally cared for him.

Axel also heads off to think, and Olivia and Djivan head back to the gypsy camp to talk to Natasha – leaving Parsley alone on the road, until she decides to find Kalvin.
