Nicora wakes up in a foul mood. She feels bloated and sore all over. It's not painful … but it is uncomfortable. So she gets up and dresses. Snow follows her in waking and they talk, mainly about how to deal with the discomfort and what to expect. Snow then suggests praying to Inala and Gorphat again, and ask for their add in this trying time. Nicora agrees.

The prayer to Inala goes well. After extracting a small promise form Nicora, Inala offers her a blessing that will allow her to hold back the pain for a time, simply by squeezing her tail. Satisfied, Nicora leaves and goes to Gorphat's shrine…

The prayer to Gorphat does not go as well … Gorphat taunts Nicora for asking her to ease the discomfort, which in turn causes Nicora to claim she can endure greater pain … and so Gorphat gives her the chance to find out! The Green Eeee kisses Nicora and imparts a powerful blessing on her niece. The pain hits like a hammer a few minutes later, leaving Nicora in a bloody-ichor oozing, writing, state of agony! And … she has several days of this to endure.
