Baddock, exploring Rephidim, visits the Bazaar, where he spends some time listening to the music of Vielanika and Rawrii, then speaking with them about his adventures. When they leave, he wanders around some more, and ends up taking a wrong turn into an alleyway. Three Kavi punks corner him, eager for a fight. Baddock takes the first one down with his bo staff, but when the other two seem to be inclined to continue the fight, he pulls out his sword. Another Kavi flees at the sight of the weapon, but the last one pulls out a pistol. Baddock performs an acrobatic feat of "triangle-jumping" up the walls of the narrow alleyway, escaping to the rooftop, leaving the gun-wielding Kavi behind.
