Galen once again dreams of entering the magical Tower of Celesti, this time joined by Wynona Windcaller – who, in Galen's dreams, works magic a little differently than normally happens on Sinai. They work together to try to trick the fire elemental, though things don't go precisely as planned. Galen distracts the elemental, as Wynona fires off an air spell meant to put out the fire in the hearth that gives the fire elemental its "anchor" to the material plane, but, while this does put out most of the fire, it also fills the room with smoke … and makes the elemental very angry! Galen fumbles about in the smoke, picking up Miss Teapot again, and using her to dump water on the coals, and then to scoop up the red gem, while the elemental is distracted. Then, he flees the room, as the psychotic cleaver comes free again! But ultimately, he is victorious, as he has the Gem of Fire in his possession.
