Envoy bids farewell to Chieftain Stonegnaw of Stalto, and sets out to resume her quest, traveling with a caravan to Tizhar, then via airship to Gateway Town. There, however, she finds that her attempts to gain passage to Behemoth are frustrated, as she can no longer depend on the Emir's favor opening the way, while she's disguised as a Nohbakim … and she's unwilling to give up her disguise what with posters up showing her likeness and offering rewards for her capture.
