[This log takes place during the "Misinformation and Misunderstandings" log, from the time that Francisco is ushered out of Brishen's office, to the time that he appears outside in the embassy courtyard about an hour later.]

Francisco is shown to one of the basement chambers of the Babelite Embassy, where he enacts a ritual to discern whether or not a piece of jewelry has any magical properties. Most of what he finds out about it, though, is due to his nose more than magical sense.
