Countess Ophelia is visiting the Bazaar with her confidant Laika, and four Rhian guards. Reico runs into Brishen, losing a letter in the process, and this event is witnessed by Aaron. The letter is found by Laika, who hands it to Ophelia, whispering that it is perhaps from a secret lover. The Aeonian and Cervani then shop at a glass figurine stall, while Reico and Brishen try to approach the Countess, and are stopped by her guards. Aaron's eavesdropping and spying is interupted by Bambridge, who questions the Lapine about his presence in the cemetery.
The Countess and entourage move on, leaving Brishen and Reico to determine just what he lost. The two Eees decide the letter is important enough to go after, and follow to the shop where Ophelia has stopped for tea. Bambridge shows Aaron the staff he appropriated, and the two leave for the Apothecary. Laika and Ophelia discuss lovers and life, while Brishen works herself up to asking for the letter. Finally, she does, and retrieves it. Opening the letter reveals a list of Locations, and names. Brishen pretends it is a love letter, and kisses Reico. The fading daylight prompts everyone to leave, and they do
