After leaving the Gnarly Tree, Amy comes to the dam and finds Gunther hanging upside down as he guards the baths. She asks him what it would take for him to not talk about the tunnel into the baths, and he asks for a tour of the Armory. Amy agrees, and then finds out he'd already promised Zahn he wouldn't talk about it, on pain of tail-shaving.

In Zahn's workshop, Amy finds her boyfriend spinning around as he holds on to his rotary engine, then gets flung off against the wall. She runs over to him and waits for him to stop being dizzy, asking him if he'll come help with looking for Buffy by making a map of the tunnels they go through.

Djivan arrives then as well, bringing a gift from Natasha: a staff with a crystal that will light up when put into the socket on top, and that can be used as an emergency anti-spirit grenade as well.
