After being delivered to the Temple authorities, Jonas is taken into custody by the Diamond lance and put aboard an airship bound for Rephidim. Meanwhile, Buran boards the same airship as she completes her vacation in Chronotopia. After the ship departs, the pair are questioned by Brother Fuston, a Technopriest. Fuston asks Buran if she is aware of the fact that Jonas thinks she is a godess, then then Jonas begins to grow more and more angry and vocal, Buran is ordered to set Jonas straight… which she does in rather vague terms. After more yelling and threats from Jonas, the exile finally figures things out for himself. He then calms down a great deal more and apologises for his outbursts (much to the Diamond Lancers and the Technopriest Fuston's suprise!) and then proceeds to ask questions about the Temple, Sinai, and his place in the whole scheme of things.
