After leaving Olivia, Gunther sneaks through the garden and into the castle's kitchen on his quest to find a dragon – and first runs across a mysterious pie that's locked up in a cage!

After picking the lock, Gunther realizes the pie won't fit through the door of the cage, and tries lifting the whole thing up. He's rewarded by it popping out of the base! Next he checks for boob-traps, but all he can find is a clover stuck in the middle of the pie, which doesn't even cause it to explode when pulled out. Clearly he is dealing with amateurs!

Deciding to steal the pie on his way out, the Kadie replaces the cage and explores further. He spots Gaspode, the evil one-eyed black Creen, hanging from the handle to the door to Dr. Pike's SECRET LAB, and decides he must have the creature! But he needs a pillowcase, and of course those would be kept in the dungeons.

Gunther retraces his steps from when he brought Miranda to have her tooth repaired, and finds the cold basement 'dungeon' that has the bone lab and other rooms. Checking the rooms, he finds a storage room of 'spare parts' used for transplants, and an autopsy room/morgue. The last room gives him a fright, since it first appears to be full of monsters! But it turns out to be a taxidermy studio.

While pondering how to make a trap instead, Gunther is attacked by Gaspode, who laughs at him before fleeing, only to return to the futility of trying to get into the locked laboratory. Even worse, Gunther discovers that someone else has come and taken the pie that he was going to steal!
