While sleeping in the mercenary camp, Alptraum and Tulani find themselves in a dream garden, where a bit picnic spread is laid out and Kaira is lounging overhead in an apple tree.

The Eeee and Sphynx talk about what they learned while in the Light of Nala, including the relation Alptraum has with the Barsunala spirit. Kaira manages to insult Alptraum by mentioning his mortality, but Tulani manages to put things into perspective and help mend things.

The power of myth is talked about a bit, as well the need to keep the Barsunala spirit and Alptraum alive long enough to finish releasing the souls within the spirit dagger.
