Axel, Amelia, Zahn, Olivia and Djivan return to the underground housing grotto, with enough supplies for an extended stay. They open up a new apartment (with no bodies or other surprises) and set it up as their base.

Djivan and Zahn then start unlocking the other apartments to see what might be left behind in them. Zahn gets ones opened first, but Axel pushes him out of the way, since the possessed bird-man sees a skeek ghost in the doorway.
