Alptraum and Mortimer are called on official reaper business. Apparently the spirit of an old khatta escaped from his 'receptacle' and is now haunting a local house of ill repute. So … of course Mortimer and Alptraum have to deal with it. The ladies of the house turn out to be odd, and the ghost odder … but somehow it still manages find a pleasant conclusion as a tale comes to a close.
