Anisa, Calligenia and Aaron return to Rephidim. At the Docks, Anisa introduces Calligenia to the ways of Rephidim, and leads her off to Snowshoe's Tavern, where the Amazonian is introduced to Anisa's family. Anisa learns that Royce has befriended a Chronotopian who will be participating in a motor carriage race across Rephidim … and that Aaron has a cousin visiting from Abu Dhabi.
