Recalling the pictograms of the temple, Lilac comes to a desperate decision: she will return to the temple, and attempt to use whatever power it may contain to return Dragonfly to life. Quickly she rushes through the storm, infiltrating the temple once again, and arriving at the lifeless corpse of the eeee. Returning to her human form, Lilac lifts the body and, with much effort, sneaks with it to the room of pools. There, while avoiding patrols, she studies the pictograms and makes another desperate choice. The bardess carries the body in to a pool, giving herself over to the currents and sinking in to the depths with Dragonfly, having decided it'd be better to die trying to save Dragonfly then live with the mistake.
