At Aaron Lightfoot's shop, Brishen (a courier Eeee) arrives to deliver a package to Ambergris (another batbat). Mira is checking around to see if there might be any air mages for hire, and Bambridge is posing as a store clerk. A Fox comes in, wanting a good luck charm, and purchases one from Aaron, singing joyously and spontaneously upon receiving it … and then proceeding to get into an accident immediately upon leaving the store. After most of the patrons leave, Aaron discusses with his friends a strange message posted on the bulletin board by Ambergris.
