Baddock finds a fight going on in the Aelfin monastery atop Sacred Mountain, as Eeee corsairs are fighting the monks. Baddock is offered a chance to escape if he'll join the side of the pirates, and he agrees. The pirate captain, Dagon, flees as he sees the dragon right behind Baddock, and gives Baddock a ride. (This wouldn't normally be possible for an Eeee, except that Baddock is fairly light.)

Back aboard the pirate airship, the crew is exhausted from carrying loot, and the Guardian of Seasons – the three headed dragon, Ashtoreth – is pursuing the pirates, and moving in toward their ship. The bats fire a volley of ballista bolts, but the dragon's middle head uses its wind blast breath to blow the bolts aside. Baddock, however, waits until the dragon does this, and then fires with his own shot … and manages to hit the large dragon and wound it. As the dragon plummets, he fires again to make sure to kill it, and the Eeee celebrate Baddock's victory.

However, the dragon's mate takes to the air, quite furious over the death of Ashtoreth, and attacks the airship with her special breath weapon. The bats abandon ship, and Baddock rushes to leap off the ship, though he pauses to tuck his shovel in the front of his belt, and ends up tripping over it in his haste. The ship explodes … and the lights go out…
