Rory leaves the cave and discovers that his friend, Reece, is doing well, but needs to rest until sundown. Given that window of opportunity, Rory ventures out to visit the cottage further down in the valley. He has several flashbacks of memories of an injured white unicorn knight by the name of Corwin, and a lady unicorn by the name of Sylvan, as he explores the long-abandoned house.
