Anisa tracks down Wanda and confronts her about her suspicions that Wanda is the thief. Wanda confesses to taking the book, but isn't the least bit repentant. She shows the curious, metal-covered book to Anisa, but is unable to open it. Anisa's curiosity gets the better of her, and while she advocates getting the book back to Baleforte' (the Naga merchant), she compromises, suggesting that since Baleforte' is headed to Half Valley anyway … maybe they could return it after they find a way to open it and read it for themselves.
