After the hectic reception, Tasha decides some R&R is in order, and so heads to the enlisted men's lounge in Tartarus, only to find it as full of Council attaches as enlisted! Resigned, the young Vartan switches plans and decides to mingle, running in to none other than Colonel Rapatia of the Confederate Guard – and the first Abaddonian Vartan Tasha has ever met. The two quickly hit it off, demonstrating that Vartans aren't so different no matter what world they are. Tasha even manages to get lessons out of the Colonel; a friendship in the making.
