Amelia seeks out Zahn, and finds him using the old tunnel beneath his workshop as a place to keep his really secret stuff, like the Titanian engine plans and the metal-glass tools.

She tells Zahn about the offer to become an honorary member of Clan Wingnut, and her acceptance. Zahn is shocked, since it's so unprecedented, but also really happy about it. Amy asks if he thinks his mother would be willing to be her Guide: the person that acts as mentor to new members. Zahn doesn't see why she wouldn't, and Amy goes to find Elsa up on the dam.

Elsa asks Amelia about her reasons for accepting the honor, and is pleased enough with the answers to agree to be her Guide.
