Sir Steinhardt goes to the Parliament to speak with his older brother, particularily about the information he has just heard from Baron Phelan. The Landsknecht is surprised to find his brother was expecting him. Lord Steinhardt is equally surprised to discover that his brother has not brought the Kaizer's heir with him. He tells the younger stag that he recieved a letter from Sir Hehner Silberglascht that morning, which stated that the knight would be bringing Talia, and the heir to the Parliament. Both brothers are concerned about this development, and the Lord advises the Knight to return to the keep and discover just what has happened
