In Galen's ongoing dream-quest, he is joined by Wynona the air mage and Randle the fire mage, as they take on the earth elemental at the top of the tower. They persuade the elemental to try to change the sheets on the bed – resulting in its being set off balance when the animate sheets try to wrestle the elemental! Galen gives the word, and Randle and Wynona unleash spell blasts on the elemental … though they fail to destroy it outright. Randle gives another cast, this time blasting the earth elemental … but it appears that this action has dire consequences for the tower itself, as rocks start to come loose, and the elemental explodes! Wynona is knocked out by the explosion; Randle carries Wynona, and he and Galen flee for all they're worth down the stairs. Hastily, at the bottom, Galen fits the gems into the proper places in the table … and then, the storm abates, and the rumbling stops. An apparition of Mage Celesti appears, deaf to anything they say, congratulating them on their success, and letting them know that the table contains the deed to the tower – which is now theirs.
