A noise alerts Tasha to activity in the Infirmary, prompting the Vartan to rush in and find that Captain Gabriel Akkers has awakened. Gabriel mistakes Tasha for Nora at first, causing an awkward tension. After more treatment is administered to the bleary Captain, Tasha reveals herself for who she is, explaining what became of Nora and The Fenris. The two talk at length until another problem – Gabriel's lack of pants – sends Tasha off to his quarters to find some clothes for the man. In searching, Tasha finds the man's ancient log, scanning it for information about the nature of the man and where he came from. The experience is sobering, as the Vartan reads more than she felt was proper. After returning, Tasha speaks more with Gabriel, including admitting to reading his log. The two continue to talk with Euphrosyne arriving to introduce the ancient man to Amazonian Lapi. The talking concludes when Gabriel becomes too exhausted. Tasha promises to stay with him, and wonders at her feelings for the man.
