Kin goes to Aaron's Apothecary to have breakfast with Xander Lightfoot, her new friend. The two have a simple breakfast of green tea and apple kabobs while they talk about Kin's soon to be departure to Sylvania, it looks like. Deciding to trust the lapi, Kin asks Xander to come with them and even explains a bit of the reason they are going to that horrible land. Xander seems to agree and has to excuse himself to go take a shower. In his usual way, Xander also manages to confuse Kin with a suggestive comment before he goes, too.
