At Aaron Lightfoot's Apothecary and Thaumaturgical Supplies, several young apprentices gather to hear tales told by a lupine Exile by the name of Jonathan Seagull. Qing arrives, distracting the Lapi for a bit, but Aaron overhears the Exile talking about "boomers", and becomes quite alarmed, as he figures out that this Exile had something to do with bringing these weapons to Sinai in the first place. Aaron and Qing caution Jonathan about telling his story too freely, and warn him of the danger, should these weapons fall into the wrong hands.
