With the mechanical monster defeated, Tasha, Layth, Aaron, and several Amazonians head in to the mines, determined to discover the origin of the invader. What they find is a relic of metal, embedded in the mountain: an ancient spacecraft that has remained trapped and dormant for countless years. With some difficulty, they manage to enter the spacecraft, realizing it to be 'The Fenris' the Gash is named after, venturing deep within to discover a lost cache of ancient and advanced technology. Few of the devices remain functional after all this time, but those that do are wonders, presenting more questions for the team to answer. After exploring many rooms, including the computer core, the rooms of Lt. Argentine, and the hardsuit bay, the party ends up in the medical facility – only to discover that one more dread machine still lingers within the sleeping vessel.
