Eclipse and the rest of the Shadow Lance face off against numerous magically-summoned monsters. Shade is wounded by some of them, while attempting to dispel them at close range, and then further wounded by a flying obsidian golem. Eclipse is badly wounded by the golem himself, but leads the attack against it, weakening and then destroying it with the help of his comrades, then swooping down to save Shade from crashing into the ground. Meanwhile, the battle appears to go badly for Nagai and its allies, as they abandon Fetiss Sky Island.
