Lochinvar and Elavars happen upon two old friends – Ariecha and Dalton – as they're being pursued by the monster. Ariecha and Dalton are preparing a pitfall trap for the monster, and Lochinvar and Elevars help them set it up. They are forced to flee before they can properly finish the trap, however, and the monster doesn't seem inclined to be fooled by it. Dalton and Lochinvar make a desperate bid to trick the monster into chasing them and falling into the pit.
