Anisa has a dream in which she is a child back in her room, but it has an odd twist: a stuffed toy creen is trying to talk to her. It turns out that it is actually Dream Mage Shift, trying to speak to Anisa through the dream; he wishes to know how many people she has told about his involvement in their visit to the dream realm of Barada, and he indicates that the "dream pendant" in her possession would be of use to him for study. She agrees to give it to him, and he lets her know that someone will come to visit her about it in Rephidim.

Anisa awakens in an infirmary, learning that she and Fuchsia knocked each other out, though Anisa is now recovered. Aaron and Anisa take an airship ride back to Rephidim, and Aaron drops Anisa off at the Snowshoe Tavern with a special souvenir: one of the picture-spheres Anisa was admiring in Caroban. It's expensive, but Aaron explains that he felt guilty about Anisa getting knocked out at the gymnasium.
