After keeping Djivan company all night, Olivia is summoned to Madame Natasha's wagon, where she finds the woman trying to cut her hair. Natasha is a bit nervous, and while Olivia deals with the hair she asks if the Skeek could arrange a private meeting between her and Lady Inaya: Natasha has decided to tell her sister the truth about herself, now that Mage Qing can arrange some protection for them.

Olivia agrees, and takes Bravil with her to see her Aunt Augusta about using the formal parlor where she entertains business clients. Augusta agrees, and the Skeek and Jupani go to ask Inaya next.

Inaya is a bit suspicious about the request for privacy, but agrees so long as she can bring one of her bodyguards.
