Arkold is assigned to seaskipper scout duty, with Hammerhand and Whitehead as "wingmen". While they're on patrol, they are pursued by a floating clam-shell-shaped ship that hovers over the water. Arkold has his group split up, and he sends Hammerhand back for help, while he circles around behind. The ship opens fire on Whitehead, and Arkold uses a cresting wave as a ramp to jump his seaskipper into the air, and to fire his torpedo-harpoon at the ship. The harpoon has no effect, and Arkold crashes onto the deck … which has decidedly more effect on the crew. Arkold manages to jump free before his seaskipper explodes, and takes one of the crew hostage. It turns out that the ship is being crewed by two sons of a "warlord" out on a joy-ride, with a bunch of women with loose morals, and they speak some variant of Khattan. Arkold tries to get one of the punks to get to the controls of the ship, but the kid operates a radio without Arkold's realizing it, and sends off a call for help to his father. Arkold clobbers the cat, and ties him up. The urgan arrives, and sailors come over to claim the ship … but then the flagship pops up as well. Captain-Prince Rashad turns tail, handing the captured ship and the warlord's two sons over, while the urgan and its crew flees … but Arkold comes out of the whole experience with a good tale and a strange gun.
