Back at Kurai's Imported Ceramic and Crystal Store, Jynx is suffering from a cold as he is reunited with his family. They are overjoyed at the news of his betrothal to a Titanian, whom Dominic (his father) supposes to be wealthy. Jynx is outraged, protesting the 'news' and retreating to his room … but finding it not only still claimed by Zsofi, but locked. Eve lets Jynx catch a nap in her room for the time being.
