Envoy and Rawrii visit the Three Thieves Inn to play some music and earn some shekels. Envoy does well, but almost gets cheated out of an iron piece by Jakka the Vartan innkeeper/bartender, except for the intervention of an eagle-eyed Crista. As Envoy tries another "number", things are interrupted by Inquisitor Caesar Moffat, who shows up to shake down Jakka.
