Envoy pays a visit to Arch Inquisitor Raphael Melchizedek in the Temple, and shows him a rubbing she made of the monument of the Aeonian in the Old Cemetary. Melchizedek indicates that the name on the monument is his, and that the monument was created as a result of a "misunderstanding". Envoy talks with Melchizedek about other things, such as how she believes that she is being used as a "pawn", and how she hopes to enlist the help of a mind mage to alter her personality.
