Going into the apartment, the group is amazed by the apparent technology, from dial-controlled lighting to a glass mural on the wall that simulates sunrise to sunset. The kitchen has working appliances and there's even an air circulation system.

Djivan and Olivia sneak of to explore on their own, and find the bathroom – and some bubble bath! The old soap works fine on Olivia, but turns Djivan's fur slightly pink.

Zahn, Pike and Amy meanwhile force their way into a closed room, and find the rotting remains of furniture and a mummified skeek body, along with a cryptic message written in blood.

Once Djivan and Olivia rejoin them, they try to leave – only to find that a group of Gorts is poking around in the grotto, standing between them and the boat.
