Jack is not big on the whole permission thing, and needles Aiken about being domesticated while the Kadie brings the otter to his home. Curiel is surprised about the dinner guest, and goes into a cleaning frenzy, while outside Silas shows up and Jack gets a peek at Midge Sniffler.
There is the usual chaos as Kiona attacks people from her pillow fort, and Midge comes by to bring more groceries for dinner and leaves so suddenly that Jack complains about everyone running around all the time instead of savoring life. This makes no sense to the high-speed Kadie, of course.
Once Silas agrees to stay the night and help with Kiona, Curiel agrees to let Aiken help out Jack. After dinner, he and Silas join Jack as they head over to the Oggton pier, while Jack stops to pick up a box from his cabin that has Aiken dying of curiosity.
Once Jack says that the box can only be opened up at a party, Emmett takes them all to the Boathouse, where Jack regales everyone with tales of his travels to different parts of the world ending with the Gigi Coast. Here is when he opens the box, which has colorful Gigi sarongs and necklaces that the Akwavi girls are only too happy to shed their own clothes to get into. Midge also helps Aiken pick out something for Curiel, before the limbo dance begins. Aiken pockets a carved stone that was in the box, and then learns that Jack forgot his carved vermite.
