Jynx is taken to a public event where it is revealed that the Twelve- Times-Twelve are prepared to name Third-Eye (aka Jezebel aka Third-Vision) as the new Priest-King, but she is faced by opposition from Storm-Hand and Jade- Eyes. Jynx's true identity is revealed, and he is asked to speak to the assembled audience about himself in defense of the "outsiders" – and to verify his treatment at the hands of Storm-Hand's tribe.
