Alptraum and Mave go to the gypsy camp so that Mave can examine Hexen and see if he is, indeed, suitable for ritual use. Mave gets a chance to observe and critique the dance and Alptraum gets a chance to explain the purpose of the dancing … pickpocketing.

The pair then find Hexen and Kizzy … and learn that the Eeee is keeping the fox on a very short leash! After some banter and debate, the two agree to come to the castle later and let Alptraum turn Kizzy into a Mave-like Eeee … in exchange for some of his blood.

The trip ends with a stop to visit Nyneve and give her the list of eligible men for her daughters. Of course trouble doesn't stop there … as Mave and Nyneve decide to put on a dance show of their own…
