Zoltan and Envoy, in the jungle, encounter a Bromthen Forest-Hog. During its attack, it becomes entangled by a meat-eating plant – a plant which attacks Envoy as well. Zoltan and Envoy flee, pursued by a swarm of Blood Flies, and fall into a raging river. They manage to climb onto a jutting rock just in time to avoid plunging over a waterfall … and beyond the waterfall, they can see some ancient ruins. A little creen takes an interest in Envoy, and the two fliers make their way back to the Base Camp with their news
