After having some last parting words with Gabriel, and receiving orders on what to do with Harmonia, Tasha departs to the site of the fallen sky island sized creature in order to investigate its remains. After offering it a prayer and ruminating on how its visit to this dimension ended so poorly, Tasha begins collecting samples and interacting with the smaller creatures. The smaller creatures react to signals, suggesting an animal like intelligence, and possibly a measure of control if approached with certain radiation bands. Back in Harmonia, Tasha and Harmonia attempt to understand the peculiar crystal shards, only to realize they're not shards of crystal at all – they're solidified blocks of twisted space-time! Deciding to keep one and have others investigate the rest, Tasha sets course for the Pit and enters in to stasis, stopping time so that she may arrive without feeling the intervening hours.
