Alptraum seeks out the heart of the enraged (and insane) Shadow Dragon. Much to his horror, he finds the heart lifeless. Not to let this deter him from his quest, he returns to the Inn and dives back into the blade. He explains the situation to the Shadow Dragon. In a moment of lucidity, the Shadow Dragon realizes just what befell it and sinks into depression. Alptraum speaks to the creature and offers a chance for freedom … of a short. The Shadow Dragon accepts the offer … and the two become one. The Shadow Dragon infuses what remains of itself into the Eeee; giftting him long life and a few extra abilities.
